Across Rwanda, 80% of churches have closed due to unmet infrastructure requirements, like lacking basic handwashing stations, pastors that are required to obtain pastoral education, and building code that requires sound proofing to meet new government standards. These closures leave communities without a place to worship, pastors without the tools to lead, and families without hope. You have the power to change this. Pastor Emmanuel’s church in Uganda was thriving. Families gathered each week, children sang in the choir, and the community felt united. But when new Government requirements for handwashing stations, pastoral education, and building code that requires sound proofing were introduced, the church had to close. Without the resources to meet these standards, the congregation scattered, and hope faded.
With your support, Multiply stepped in. By providing the necessary materials and guidance, Pastor Emmanuel’s church reopened, and today, it’s filled with worship, joy, and community spirit.
